About the opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and enthusiastic Executive Assistant to support the Director Community Services.

Key responsibilities include

  • Professional and confidential administrative support to the Senior Management Team
  • Manage internal and external enquiries including correspondence management administration and records management
  • Complex diary management, coordinating meetings and events
  • Secretariat support including coordination of documents and taking and typing minutes
  • Provide high level project support to the Director Community Services and to the Community Services Directorate

You will be able to

  • Provide high level confidential administrative support drawing on your previous extensive experience in a secretarial or executive assistant position
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders effectively using both written and verbal mediums
  • Demonstrate experience and skills in the development and maintenance of effective administrative systems
  • Manage your time effectively and prioritise and organise your workload efficiently
  • Work flexibly, take initiative and make sound judgements in a busy work environment

To be successful in the role you will have

  • Extensive experience in an executive assistant position or senior secretarial role
  • Tertiary qualifications in business administration or a related field is desirable
  • Highly developed knowledge and proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office and other specialist software products.
