This position contributes to the provision of high quality business services to the City of Knox. In particular, you will be responsible for strategic management and leadership in the area of records management across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and management to the Corporate Records Unit, including the management of operations (both human and financial resources) to effectively deliver all services. 
  • Develop, implement and monitor records management strategic frameworks, policies and procedures in accordance with relevant legislation, PROV Standards and best practice.  
  • Provide technical and strategic records management advice to management.
  • Coordinate the system administration of both HPE Content Manager and Kapish Explorer (known as Knox eXplorer) in relation to system security, maintenance, service requests and system development.
  • Promote and support the ongoing use of Council’s electronic records management system (Knox eXplorer) across the organisation.
  • Manage Council’s Archiving Program.
  • Identify and implement system, policy, process and service improvements to increase capability, effectiveness and efficiency of records management throughout Council.
  • Develop and implement Council-wide records management training programs.

  • Excellent attention to detail skills.
  • Demonstrated experience as a system administrator in HPE Content Manager and Kapish Explorer is highly desired.
